Bills For Books LLC ("we") operates billsforbooks.com. This page explains what we collect and how we use it. Last updated September 2026.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name, email, phone, organization, shipping address, payout preference, and the ISBNs and quantities of books you quote, sell, or buy.
- Payment details: card payments on our store are processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers. Payouts by PayPal use the PayPal email you give us. If you choose direct deposit we collect bank details by phone or secure form, not on this site.
- Automatic data: standard web logs (IP address, browser, pages viewed) kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To price your books, create offers and shipping labels, pay you, and ship orders.
- To contact you about a quote, order, or shipment.
- To improve our pricing and the site. We look at aggregate data such as which titles are quoted most.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to do the job: our hosting and database providers, Stripe (card payments), EasyPost and USPS (shipping labels and tracking), and our email provider. We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers. Shipping labels necessarily include your name and address.
Price data
Quotes are based on live prices from third-party marketplaces and buyback vendors. We look up book data by ISBN only; no personal information is sent to those services.
Your choices
Email sell@billsforbooks.com to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. We keep quote and order records as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes.
Cookies
The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Signed-in features use a session cookie only.
