Textbook buyback built for college bookstores

Returns, overstock, superseded editions, dead stock. Send us the ISBN file and get one price for the lot, usually the same business day. We pay for shipping and pay you within 5 business days of receiving your books.

What you get

One price for the lot

We quote the whole list at once, not title by title, with cheaper shipping on lots of 20 or more.

CSV in, one number out

Export ISBNs and quantities from your POS, upload it, and see a price per title and for the lot. Up to 10 per title instantly; more gets a reviewed price.

Prepaid labels, one per box

USPS labels sized to your books. Pallet pickup on large shipments.

Paid in 5 business days once received

Check, PayPal, or direct deposit after inspection. No net-30, no chasing.

Priced to the live market

Every ISBN is priced the moment you ask, so the number reflects what the book is worth today, not last semester.

We take the whole lot

Fast movers, slow movers, and the ones nobody else wants. We price each honestly and tell you which ones have no value so you can recycle them.

How it works

Send the list

Upload a CSV on the site or email it to sell@billsforbooks.com. ISBN and quantity is all we need.

Get the price

Small lots are priced instantly. Large lots get a reviewed offer, usually within the business day.

Ship on our labels

Print the prepaid labels, box the books, drop them off or schedule a pickup.

Get paid

We inspect on arrival and pay within 5 business days by the method you choose.

Best times to sell

Prices are highest in the weeks right after a term ends and right before the next one starts, when vendors are restocking: late December through January, and late May through August. Superseded editions lose value fast once the new edition ships, so move those as soon as you know.
